Hi All!

At the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, our team has developed a new platform calledSensing the Dynamic Universe (SDU).  This open, free initiative allows anyone to experience the majestic "menagerie" of the cosmos—from variable stars and pulsars to black holes, via webpages and sonified video plots designed for everyone, especially people who are blind or low vision. 

• How it works: We directly translate brightness to pitch to sonify lightcurves and spectra.

• What you’ll hear: Engaging videos and explanations exploring binary stars, supernovae, quasars, gamma-ray bursts, and more.
