If you're just getting started, here you can learn what resources to start with, how to use them, how to work with BLV people, and more.
If you have experience, chime in to help others by sharing what you've learned in doing BLV astronomy.
On the left side, you can choose the Spaces where you want to participate. You can set up your profile by clicking on the icon at the top right.
Be sure to click on Notifications in your profile so you'll know when someone answers your question or posts something of interest to you.
Ask, share, and let others know about this worldwide community. Moderators will be sharing some ideas and answering questions.

For those of you who have just received a notification about the Astronomy for Equity Blind and Low Vision Community Hub, you have been added to this forum because you had joined it previously. The Slack platform turned out to not work well for this purpose so we've reactivated it on a forum on Astronomy for Equity's website.
We learned a lot in the previous two attempts to get this community going with a small group of participants. Now, we have a group of volunteers helping to answer questions, keep discussions going, and many more features to make this community really active.
If you're here as a first-timer at astronomy with the blind and low vision, we'll make sure you get the help you need to get started.
If you've been doing this for a while you can share your ideas with others around the world to see how what you works in other places. And you're likely to learn from other experienced practitioners as well.
If you prefer not to be included in this group, you can leave through your Settings or let us know and we'll remove you right away.
