Yumna Majeed is a passionate Space Educator and the founder of Exploration, a STEAM education organization dedicated to promoting astronomy and space technology in Pakistan since 2016. She strongly believes that every child’s curiosity about space should be nurtured, a need often overlooked in traditional classrooms. To fill this gap, she collaborates with international space organizations, bringing the wonders of the cosmos directly into schools.

Yumna’s work in space education and outreach has earned her numerous national and international accolades, including the Pride of Pakistan award, the prestigious Diana Award, and recognition as a Gender Equality champion in Space by the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs.

In addition to her role at Astronomy for Equity, where she leads outreach efforts to spotlight the organization’s initiatives, Yumna has also volunteered with several international organizations. A graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Yumna is also a qualified Medical Lab Technologist.
