Astronomy for Equity is excited to announce a new podcast, “Big Impact Astronomy,” showcasing ways that astronomy is used for good around the world. The podcast features the work of innovators, educators, and advocates who introduced STEM education where there are no science facilities, inspire girls to consider STEM careers, and more.
Each episode of Big Impact Astronomy dives deep into the personal stories, motivations, and challenges of our guests. We explore how they are expanding access to astronomy, inspiring unserved communities, and using science to foster understanding and unity across borders. From remote villages to bustling city centers, their stories reveal the profound impact of bringing people closer to the stars.
These stories demonstrate how the universal language of the stars connects us all, transcending borders, cultures, and barriers.
